Scholarships
CCHS employees have received assistance to further their education with the help of our scholarships. Not only do we consider our employees, but we also include the dependents of our employees.
The Loren and Edie Sultze Scholarship Fund for CCH was established in 2015 to assist current Christian Community Home Employees as they further their education.
Loren & Edie Sultze were residents at our CCH-Hudson campus. Edie was always impressed and inspired by the care and treatment provided by the staff at CCH for herself and her husband, Loren Sultze. Their daughter Lana now carries on their legacy by awarding the scholarships to our CCHS employees.
The Helping Hands Scholarship was started in 2016 by the family of Kayo Suzukida, a former CCH-Hudson resident, out of gratitude for the exceptional and compassionate care-giving experience at CCH. The excellent environment created by the caring and highly skilled CCH staff results in a very good quality of life for residents. In 2019, the Foundation and the Helping Hands Scholarship were united as one and will continue to be called the Helping Hands Scholarship. This allows other donors to contribute to this very important Foundation fund.
