The beginning…
Christian Community Homes & Services (CCHS) was born out of the desire and need to have a nursing home remain in Hudson, WI. Launched by the Hudson United Methodist Church and supported by the Hudson community, what began as a 75-bed skilled nursing community for seniors, has now turned into a full campus that includes both skilled nursing and transitional care, along with, independent living in WinterGreen, assisted living at Pine Ridge, and a secure and safe memory care unit in Pine Ridge Gardens.
Just north of Hudson, our story continues in the charming town of Osceola where CCHS offers seniors skilled-nursing and assisted living, both conveniently adjacent to the Osceola Medical Center. Additionally, Evergreen Senior Living is located just minutes away as an option for seniors choosing a maintenance-free lifestyle with care services, by request.
“Our mother, Meredie Danielson, was first a resident at WinterGreen Senior Apartments and eventually, as she required additional assistance, we made an easy transition to Pine Ridge assisted living. Mom enjoyed the many activities that Pine Ridge offered that keep residents active and engaged like musical performances, sing a longs, arts and crafts, exercise classes and of course, Friday Happy Hour! As her memory diminished, someone always made a point to get her to the activities she loved participating in. The team at Pine Ridge assisted living made our mother's life so special, and we were blessed to witness the loving care that she received every day. The extraordinary kindness and compassion of each staff member has us forever in their gratitude and we think of them all as “angels on earth”
